Snowbird foods is looking forward to a winter in wonderland, thanks to the soaring success of its innovative Koftes product. After a successful period with a 200 outlet pub chain, the customer challenged Snowbird to make the Koftes even better.

“We responded by upping the meat content (to nearly 70%) and reducing the drier ingredients matter to make them more succulent and easy to cook,” said Snowbird Joint Managing Director, Philip Paul.

The company uses prime cuts of top quality lamb and a blend of seasonings which include garlic, onion, cumin, chillies, black and white pepper and Eastern spices.

Improved cooking processes in Snowbird’s refurbishment factory enhanced the final product.

“We knew we’d got it right when the customer came back to us having tested every Kofte available on the market.” Added Mr. Paul.

The 45g Koftes are served in threes as a starter and five are used for massive main courses.
