Snowbird foods has put pzazz into the festive season with our Christmas Crackers which are a convenient and up-to-the-minute alternative to old-fashioned and fiddly Pigs in Blankets. These cracking Crackers are fully cooked and frozen 25g chipolata sausages made from moist and tender turkey thigh meat and flavoured with quality diced bacon and cranberries.
A great Christmas meal accompaniment, they are equally suitable as a buffet item as they can be eaten hot or cold. The savoury meat is complemented by the sharp, sweet taste of the cranberries and our unique blend of herbs and spices delivers an exciting eating experience.

From frozen, Christmas Crackers can be microwaved (in seconds) or oven baked to 75˚C, have a wonderful golden brown colour and will hold under lights for long periods.
Microwave from frozen 800w: 1 x 25 gram cracker = 30 seconds.
Oven bake from frozen 200˚C: 1 x 25 gram cracker = 3 minutes.
Adjust timings for product quantity and size.
Check core temperature of 75˚C has been achieved.
Return to microwave or oven if further heating is necessary.
Snowbird has added a new dimension to the burgeoning UK street food scene with the development of a proudly British version of the iconic New York Hot Dog.
In the place of a pink, bendy and finely minced dog, Snowbird is presenting a traditional British sausage made of bowl chopped (not minced) quality cuts of pork which it fries and oven bakes in the factory to a uniform golden brown before freezing.
The iconic hot dog flavour profile is added to this familiar texture by a complex yet balanced recipe which features rapeseed oil, both standard and smoked salt, rubbed marjoram, standard and smoked black pepper, garlic, coriander and ginger.
The all British New York Hot Dog (made in London!) can be produced in a variety of sizes from chipolata upwards, but research has identified 100g as ideal because this weight delivers a 28mm sausage which gives a good filling to a standard hot dog roll.
"This is a quality British twist on a traditional American street snack because our quality recipe in a beef collagen casing delivers a texture which is familiar to British sausage eaters and has a great flavour which is borrowed from the New World," said sales director, Roy Anderson.
Whilst outdoor eating is the norm for street food style products, Snowbird sees the New York Hot Dog as of a suitable quality to be presented as a plated meal centre with fries, salads and other interesting accompaniments.
It can be heated from frozen in a microwave (in seconds) and can also quickly be oven baked, griddled, grilled or even fried. It is packed in 4 kilo cases.
