Gourmet Sausages Safe To Barbecue

Gourmet Sausages from Snowbird foods are fully cooked and food safe, making them ideal for barbecues – just heat and eat!

The sausages are in natural casings which deliver the distinctive crescent shape and deliciously plump appearance – and there is no splitting. They can be re-heated from frozen, thus cutting out waste and, as they have been pre-cooked, there is no weight loss.

Only top quality primal cuts of meat are gently minced and mixed to deliver a coarse texture and the meat content is a generous 78 per cent, a recipe that has been recognised with a major foodservice award.

Flavours are: Old English Pork; Highland (pork and haggis seasoning); Wiltshire (pork, smoked bacon and herbs); Scotch Beef (made with Aberdeen Angus); Pork and Leek, Cumberland (pork and herbs) and Piri Piri Chicken (piri piri sauce).

Also available are various recipes in rings and an innovative horseshoe shape, along with a pork-free beef sausage, suitable for many ethnic groups.

The recipe contains 65 per cent beef, plus a blend of herbs and is offered in 50 and 80g links in either natural or collagen casings.
