Snowbird Beefs Up Chipolatas Range

Snowbird foods has strengthened its range of unique Gourmet Plus Chipolata Sausages with the launch of a new recipe.

Scotch Beef follows fast in the footsteps of pork-based Chistora and Hot American recipes and the tasty trio are the only fully cooked and frozen chipolatas in natural casings on the market.

The newcomer contains no rusk or cereal, just beef from carefully selected forequarter cuts and a secret blend of seasoning.

Ideal for hotel breakfasts and buffets, the chipolatas leave the factory, recently upgraded at a cost of £1.5m., an attractive golden brown and can quickly be re-heated (in seconds in a microwave).

"This is a new idea and interest in fully cooked chipolatas is growing thanks to our super premium quality," said Snowbird sales director, Roy Anderson.

"We are building a new market with these Gourmet Plus Chipolatas, just as we did with 80g. fully cooked sausages," he added.

The chipolatas are packed in 4 kilo units.
